Use the official installer, quit your DAW before installation, then rescan. On macOS 0.19.1 installs VST3, AU and standalone to the standard system locations.

License
Loads but makes no sound?
Check Settings → License first. Phase Loom gates audio until a valid license is activated. Internet is required for activation; normal use can rely on the local activation cache afterward.

Update notifications
Qualified builds can check Loom Instruments update feeds and report newer releases. If a manual check fails, confirm internet access and try again after the cooldown.

Intel + Apple Silicon
Phase Loom 0.19.1 is Universal 2. The same package supports Intel x86_64 and Apple Silicon arm64. The current beta has passed real-machine testing on both.
Ableton Live
Rescan after install
Enable the appropriate VST3/AU system folders in Live and perform a full rescan if Phase Loom does not appear after installation.
Known issue
Standalone window sizing
On some smaller/lower-resolution macOS displays, the standalone window may exceed the usable screen area. This is planned for a future maintenance update.
