Draw a waveform.
Shape it. Make it move.

Phase Loom is a waveform synthesizer built for hands-on sound design: six oscillators, drawable modulation, wavetable morphing, deep routing, dual voice filters, built-in effects, sequencing, unison and a 448-sound factory library — all in one focused instrument.

Phase Loom interface
Core instrument

Built around movement.

Phase Loom starts with the waveform itself, then lets you push it through morphing, modulation, interaction and sequencing without turning the interface into a maze.

6

Up to six oscillators

Independent wavetable oscillators A–F with tuning, levels, shaping and interaction routing.

↔

Wavetable morphing

Draw endpoint waves and build transitions with multiple morph styles and intermediate frames.

∞

Custom modulation shapes

Three drawable LFOs, breakpoint editing, curvature, snapping and reusable source presets.

32

Step sequencer

Up to 32 steps with value, gate, chance and tie lanes plus multiple playback directions and swing.

A/B

A/B comparison

Keep two editable sound states side by side, compare changes and copy A into B.

FM

Oscillator interaction

Phase modulation, through-zero linear FM and ring modulation, including C–F routing into A/B.

New in 0.19.0

Dual filters. Built-in effects. More ways to move.

Shape every voice through two six-mode filters, then push the summed sound through a native effects chain. Filter and FX controls integrate with Phase Loom’s modulation, automation, A/B, preset recall and theme system.

2×

Dual voice filters

Two filters per voice with cutoff, resonance, drive, mix and key tracking for precise tone shaping.

⇄

Serial or parallel

Run Filter 1 into Filter 2 for stacked shaping, or split them in parallel for broader and more complex responses.

DR

Distortion

Add controlled harmonic weight and aggression before the spatial stages of the effects chain.

FX

Chorus · Flanger · Phaser

Switch the modulation stage between three movement effects for width, metallic motion and sweeping character.

↻

Delay

Build space and rhythm with free or tempo-aware delay behavior while keeping feedback under control.

∞

Reverb

Finish sounds with anything from restrained depth to large evolving spaces directly inside Phase Loom.
